Who we are

Centolabs operates centolabs.tech and its product sites such as teacher-assistant.centolabs.tech. You can reach us at info@centolabs.tech.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and a hashed (never plain-text) password.

What you submit to generate materials: class level, subject, topic and notes. It is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. We do not intentionally store your requests or the generated materials after the result is delivered to you.

Usage and billing: how many credits you have used, your plan, and subscription status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept briefly for security and reliability.

Why we use it

To run your account, generate the materials you ask for, take payments, prevent abuse, and keep the service working. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.

Who processes it for us

Vercel (hosting), MongoDB Atlas (database), Stripe (payments) and Google (the Gemini API, which processes the text you submit to generate materials). Each acts under its own terms and security practices.

Cookies and local storage

We use one essential sign-in cookie so you stay logged in across Centolabs sites. We also use your browser's local storage for small interface choices (for example, remembering that you closed a notice). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We measure page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or follow you across sites.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its use, by emailing info@centolabs.tech. Where applicable law (such as the Turkish KVKK or the EU GDPR) gives you further rights, we will honour them.

Retention

We keep account data while your account exists and delete it when you ask us to, except where the law requires us to keep billing records.

Children

Our tools are made for teachers and lecturers, not for children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
